Dear Tanque Verde School District Parents & Teachers,

The Tanque Verde Schools Educational Enrichment Foundation (TVF) is looking for individuals to serve on the board. Like any other year, we are soliciting for new community members to contribute to our events, but this year is different. Although the foundation has taken steps in recent years to ensure its long-term viability, without a group of committed individuals to contribute their events this year, TVF cannot continue to function.

More than ever our schools are counting on organizations like TVF for support. Our district's severe budget cuts do not afford the innovation and tools that are necessary for our children to thrive and develop 21st Century skills. For many of you, the reason you are in the Tanque Verde School District is because of your desire to have children in TVUSD - TVF's intention is to continue to support our children's education despite these circumstances.

We are looking for committed individuals and former board members who are willing to spend one-two hours per month to serve on the board and impact our children's futures in a positive way. We understand that the economy is putting pressure on everyone's time, as well as our event sponsors to contribute to organizations like TVF. In this spirit, we have limited our fund-raisers to Tech Trek and Taste of Tanque Verde.
